Trust
The following quotes and scriptures or intended to be meditated upon. Take your time and in doing so formulating your own understanding of the true meaning of Trusting Others and an Accountability Partner (s) within your own life’s journey. This presentation is all about you taking personal ownership concerning your own convictions in being transparent with another.
(There are no questions and answers for this teaching.)
My prayer is for you to take personal ownership of the people in your life that you will choose to grow in Trust and to be Accountable with.
I wish you success
your brother Mike
Trust is a matter of the heart,
Attitudes, Motives, Thoughts, Words, Deeds
Desires, Fears
Hungers and Longings
The Seeking of Approval
The Search for Acceptance
The Desire for Affection
The Yearning for Affirmation
The Craving for Recognition
(This is what is Important within our hearts)
Trust can bring healing within your heart
Trust means inpart to feel “Safe,” with
Transparency can create Trust
Accountability is a choice to Trust
With Accountability you have an option as to what degree you
will enter into a Trust relationship with the other person
Accountability can help stop an outward behavior
Can Accountability be effective without some degree of Trust? No!
Trust can be liken to giving someone eyes to look into your deep heart and with that not to reject you.
Accountability is asking someone to walk with you on your journey through life.
Asking them to help you remove burdens, habits or addictions that you desire removed
Issues and character flaws in play in your life that you need help with
that are holding you back from the abundant life Jesus promises you in John 10:10
Accountability only helps “arrest,” any issues you may have, a character flaw or problem.
Accountability can be a starting point for looking into those issues.
starting with a single issue and in trusting that person only with that specific issue
Often accountability is implemented with very little Grace in the equation.
It will be your trust of another brother in Christ that will dictate that healing process.
When addressing any out of control issues in your life, here is the second half of Accountability.
According to 1 John 2:12 -14
…I am writing to you, young men,
because you have overcome the evil one.
…I write to you, young men,
because you are strong,
and the word of God lives in you,
and you have overcome the evil one.
It is the Rhema word of God with in your heart that will cause you to overcome any negative behavioral issues. The Rhema word of God comes about through prayer asking our Holy Spirit to personally give you scriptures for your life journey that will become your two-edge sword spoken of in Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow;
it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
(as an example: on the right side of this website page, close to the bottom, you can view the 20 versus our Holy Spirit has given me personally for my own journey -Titled “Memory Verses.” Again ask our precious Holy Spirit to show you, “your,” double-edge sword that you will use in “overcoming,” throughout your life.)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

According to Scripture, we are to “Love,” one another. Yet, Trust is the key to our deep heart,
and it is best that we give that key out to a select few.
For a healthy and mature relationship involves both active LOVE and TRUST.
Example: Jesus had 12 disciples, yet it seems he for the most part only entrusted 3.
Peter, James and John.

Accountability
Again, my prayer is you meditate and ponder these scriptural verses and how they apply to being transparent with a brother in Christ. In properly doing this you will be controlling your destiny as a son of the living God. Therefore, Trusting and being Accountable has the potential of accelerating your journey of sonship, into integrity, into your inheritance, the blessings our Father God has for you.
These blessings can be like and as to a weightlifter, the more you exercise and apply these truths into your life, the more you will be able to handle the weight of these blessings. In other words as it says in
1 John 2:12-14
I write to you, young men,
because you are strong,
and the word of God lives in you,
and you have overcome the evil one.
becoming strong equates being able to receive the inheritance your father God has for you.
Applying your WILL
Accountability is the Exercising/Strengthening of your “WILL,” to say “NO,”
to someout of control in your life
Being Strong means the strengthening of your “WILL,” in addressing any life controling issue.
Its when you apply your “Will,” to control a matter in your life.
When you allow the Holy Spirit to influence your “Will,” with “YOUR,” double -edge sword,
you will become stronger.

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.
Gaurd your heart, use wisdom concerning whom you choose to be transparent with. If you apply “Trust,” and “Accountability,” in a relationship, if done properly, it can bring you into your inheritance as a maturing son of our Father God.
Blessings and Success
Your Brother, Mike
