A Little Bit About Our God!

He is un-created, because He is self-existent,
He is one of a kind and yet triune,
The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit,
being ONE in Nature
He became flesh, by being born of a Virgin,
He was tempted, but never sinned.
He is truth and never lied.
He is the Lamb of God
who takes away the sins of the world.
He died on the cross and yet He is risen!
He lives!
For He is the Resurrection and the Life!
He is worthy of all glory, honor and praise!
For He is
my Mighty God,
my Savior,
my Messiah,
my King,
my Lord,
my Comforter
and
my Counselor!
He is perfect and changeless,
for He is
the same yesterday,today and forever.
I have come to understand
that His thoughts are not my thoughts
and
His ways are not my ways,
for
to Him a thousand years can be like a day
and
a day like a thousand years.
I know that He listens to my prayers,
and
answers them.
He gives me grace
and
is merciful towards me.
He desires that I know the truth,
so that I may be free in Him,
for
he wants me to have an abundant life
He is my Helper,
my Mediator,
my Intercessor
and
a loving example to me.
He has made me in His image,
and
is intimately involved with me.
He knows me,
in fact
He knows every detail of my life
for
He created my inner most being
and
it is He who knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
Therefore,
I know I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
For
He has taken my heart of stone
and
given me a new heart of flesh.
For the truth is,
He is the potter
and
I am the clay.
And
because of Him,
I am a new creation.
For in me
He has made all things new,
and
He is my all in all.
He has given me beauty for ashes
and
the oil of joy for sadness
He has been
faithful,
gentle,
compassionate
and
tender
towards me.
He cares for me
and
is the lover of my soul,
longing to give me
the desires of my heart.
Because of this,
I choose to cast
all my cares upon Him
For I know
He cares for me
and
I trust Him.
He is always near,
wanting to be with me.
Thinking about me all the time,
having outstretched arms towards me.
For the fact is,
His expressions towards me are gracious,
compassionate and rich with love.
He has even rejoiced over me with singing.
His actions sometimes have been a little eccentric
in the way He expresses His love towards me,
…by taking every tear drop that I have ever cried
and
saving them in a jar?
Not to mention,
He has even been in the habit
of counting every hair on my head?
He is my
Good Shepherd,
my Bread of Life,
My Prince of Peace,
and
my Provider,
He is good to me,
and
in the past has even
performed miracles in my life!
He is
my Peace,
and
when I abide in Him,
He has been my refuge
and
my hiding place.
He is my strength,
and
He protects me.
I fear Him,
yet
He is the Anchor of Hope
for my soul
for in Him,
I stand firm and secure.
Because
I know that He is faithful
to all His promises
and
I know that He will never leave me
nor forsake me.
For His name is
Faithful and True,
and
He is the Word of Life,
Sharper than any two-edged sword.
He has been jealous for me,
angry with me,
and
sometimes has had to discipline me.
But nevertheless
has always been just to me
for
He is the Righteous Judge!
He has grieved over me when I have sinned,
yet
He forgives me,
when I ask Him for His forgiveness!
Not to mention,
He has delivered me from Satan,
and
washed me with the Word of Life,
causing me to be both
sanctified and justified
in His sight.
He is my
High Priest,
my Bridegroom
and
my Bright Morning Star,
for His mercies
are new every morning!
He is my
Alpha and Omega,
and
I am confident
that He will complete
the good work that He
has begun in me,
because
He is also
the Author and Finisher of my faith!
He reasons with me,
He has a will
and
has given me a will
likes His.
He chooses and lets me choose.
He creates and gives me the freedom to create.
He has redeemed me, and has healed me.
He is to be awed,
for I know that He is an Awesome God.
He is powerful
and
in Him I am strong
and
can do good works.
He is Holy
and
calls me to be Holy.
He is purity
and
is always calling me to be pure.
He is my Light,
and
says
that I am to be His light.
For He has called me His friend,
and
has told me,
nothing can separate me
from His love.
He is not ashamed
to call me His brother.
For He says
that I am precious to Him
and
honored in His sight.
He is my
father,
my papa,
taking great delight in me
and
I am His adopted son.
Therefore,
I love Him
because
He first loved me!
