and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

Ephesians 6:15

*          *          *          *          *

What’s the first thing we need to do to experience the Victory our Father God has for us?

*         *       *          *          *

It’s putting on the

Armor of God

(Teaching)

*          *          *          *          *

*          *          *          *

*          *          *

*          *

*

*          *          *          *          *

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand

against the devil’s schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,

but

against the rulers,

 against the authorities,

against the powers of this dark world

and

against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore I put on the full armor of God,

so that when the day of evil comes,

I may be able to stand my ground, and after I have done everything, to stand.

I stand firm then,

with the belt of truth buckled around my waist,

with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and

with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

In addition to all this,

I take up the shield of faith,

with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

I take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit,

which is the word of God.

And I pray in the Spirit on all occasions

with all kinds of prayers and requests.

With this in mind, I choose to be alert

and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Ephesians 6:10-18

  *          *          *          *          *

Now stop right here,

close your eyes and in your imagination,

see yourself

clean and pure

and

“putting on”

all this  armor,

your Father has given to you.

Revelation 19:14

 *          *          *          *          *

Do this daily,

first thing every morning!

*          *          *          *          *

Remind yourself often

throughout the day

that you have this armor on,

reviewing each piece

and

how it is to benefit you.

*          *          *          *          *

Next,

a little understanding of

“the sword of the Spirit.”

Revelations 1:16

shows us that in heaven

this kind of sword is to

come out of our mouths,

like it comes out of the mouth

of our Brother Jesus.

Then in

Matthew 4:1-11

our Brother Jesus

gives us a lesson

on how to “use” this sword.

Now we know that

“…our struggle is not

against

flesh and blood,

so, what does this kind of sword do?

What is interesting is that

this kind of sword

can be used

in several different ways.

We just saw it being used

in one way

to stop the devil,

yet

another way we can use it

is within our “inner world”

for correctly

judging our

thoughts and attitudes,

for

Hebrews 4:12

tells us

For the word of God is living and active.

Sharper than any double-edged sword,

it penetrates even to dividing

soul and spirit, joints and marrow;

it judges the thoughts

and

attitudes of the heart.

*          *          *          *          *

Let me explain,

what you are about to do is

enter into your inner most being

Proverbs 20:27

with

your sword.

And

you are going to start checking

and

making sure that both your thoughts

and

your attitudes are aligned

with what our Father God says about you.

You are about to do this using

the “sword” that your

Father God has given you.

(this is, your mouth, your voice, speaking forth His living words)

Plus,

You are going to start

embracing you inheritance,

owning your inheritance,

claiming your inheritance

as an adopted son of the living God.

You will be speaking into existence  the destiny,

of the peace, healing, victory and freedom

that your Father God has for you.

As you read on

this will become clear.

*          *          *          *          *

But first,

let’s look at these four words:

Truth – Faith – Belief  – Trust,

for they are very important

concerning the victories you are after.

And as you

“stand firm”

at the beginning of

every new day of your life,

it will be

these four values within you

that will break any

Strongholds

(Teaching)

that are currently

in place within your soul.

This portion has been adapted from Neal Anderson’s book

Freedom in Christ

*          *          *          *          *

The Christian life

is lived

by faith

according to what God says

is true.

Jesus is

 the truth,

the Holy Spirit

is the

Spirit of truth,

God’s Word

is truth,

and

we are to speak

the truth

in love.

The biblical response

to truth

is faith,

regardless of whether

we “feel” it is true.

In addition,

Christians are to have no part in

lying,

deceiving,

stretching the truth,

or

anything else

associated with falsehood.

Lies

keep us

in bondage,

but

it is the truth

that sets us free.

King David wrote in Psalms,

Blessed is the man

whose sin the LORD does not count against him

and in whose spirit is no deceit.

Psalm 32:2

Peace, Healing, Victory,

Freedom and Joy

come from walking

in the truth.

We find the strength

to walk in the

light of

honesty and transparency

before

God and others

when we know that

God loves and accepts us

just as we are.

We can face reality,

acknowledge our sins

and

not try to hide.

Begin this commitment to truth

by

speaking the following pages

“ALOUD,”

not allowing

any opposing thoughts,

such as

“this is a waste of time”

or

“I wish I could believe this,

but

I can’t,”

to keep you from pressing forward.

God will strengthen you

as you rely

on Him.

The more

you learn how

loving,

powerful

and

protective

God is

the more

you’ll be likely

to trust Him.

The more

you realize

His complete acceptance

of you

in Christ,

the more you’ll be released to be

open,

honest

and

(in a healthy way)

vulnerable

before

God and others.

The New Age movement

has twisted the concept of faith

by teaching

that we make something true

by

believing it.

That is false.

We cannot create reality

with our minds;

only God can do that.

Our responsibility

is to face reality

and

choose to believe

what God says

is true.

True biblical faith,

therefore,

is choosing to believe

and

acting upon

what is true,

because

God has said it is true,

and

He is the

Truth.

Faith is something

you “decide” to do,

not something

you ”feel” like doing.

Believing something

doesn’t make it true;

it’s already true,

therefore

we choose to believe it!

Everybody

lives by faith.

The only difference

between

Christian faith

and

non-Christian faith

is the object

of our faith.

If the object of our faith

is not trustworthy,

then no amount of believing

will change that.

That’s why our faith

must be grounded

on the solid Rock

of God’s

perfect,

unchanging character

and

the truth

of His Word.

For two thousand years

Christians

have known the importance of

verbally and publicly

declaring truth.

Read

“ALOUD”

the following

“Statements of Truth,”

and

carefully consider what you are professing.

Why read them aloud?

Because,

when you think something –

you are still considering those thoughts.

but

when you speak them

out loud,

you have taken those thoughts

and

by your action of speaking,

you are declaring

your decision on that matter.

You have pronounced your choice

by

speaking them out loud,

you are revealing

what

is in your heart,

what

you believe.

Romans 10:9-10

says:

“…if you confess with your mouth,

“Jesus is Lord,”

and

believe in your heart

that God raised him from the dead,

you will be saved.

For it is with your heart

that you believe

and

are justified,

and

it is with your mouth

that you confess

and

are saved.”

Speaking these truths

out loud,

is a commitment,

a statement of your belief.

Speaking these truths out loud

is activating your faith.

What is faith?

Hebrews 11:1

says:

Now faith is

being sure

of what we hope for

and

certain

of what we do not see...

Also,

 speaking out

these truths

is actively doing

(Teaching)

Speaking out these truths

is securing and advancing

the Kingdom of God

within you.

You may find it helpful to read them

aloud daily

for several weeks,

which will help renew your mind

to the truth.

And, also as

2 Corinthians 10:5

says;

We demolish arguments

and

every pretension

that sets itself up

against the knowledge of God,

and

we take captive every thought

to make it obedient to Christ.

Plus, we are applying

Romans 12:2

which says;

be transformed

by the renewing of your mind.

Then you will be able to

test and approve

what God’s will is

—his good,

pleasing and perfect will.

So,

you are about to speak

the inheritance you received the second you were born again.

This inheritance was made possible

by what Jesus did for each of us at the cross.

Next, our Father God’s truths

about what He, Himself

has said about you.

Which reveals

His thoughts and feelings towards you,

and

the relationship He wants with you.

Then,

you will be speaking out your response to Him

which will be heard in the heavenlies.

Finally,

you will be using your voice to activate your faith

to declare absolute eternal truths.

Truths that will bring to pass

the destiny our Father God has for you.

Proverbs 18:21

And

in doing this

you will be applying

James 4:7- 8:

 Submit yourselves,

then, to God.

Resist the devil,

and

he will flee from you.

Come near to God

and

he will come near to you.

Wash your hands,

you sinners,

and

purify your hearts,

you double-minded.
