Meditations on Who?

Meditations on Who? God is Trinity Self Existent, Eternal, Self Sufficient, Infinite, Holy, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Immuntable, Soverign, Creator, Father God

In our journey of walking into purity and holiness it is vitally important as A.W. Tozer says:

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”

This is what these meditations are all about.

I am associated with an organization, Youth with a Mission (YWAM,) an one of their main mottos is:

To Know God, And To Make Him Known!

If your quest is to experience a greater measure of our God’s; Peace, Freedom, Victory, and/or Healing, plus as you are pursuing these promises of our God for you, you will also enter into a growing intimacy with him.

Its essential that you immerse yourself in these Names & Characteristics of our God and their meanings in order to achieve your goals of purity and holiness.

A quote from Brother Lawrence:

“The more we know Him,
the more we will desire to know Him.
As love increases with knowledge,
the more we know God,
the more we will truly love Him.
We will learn to love Him equally in times of distress or in times of great joy.”

This list is in no way complete. INCOMPARABLE written by my long-time friend, Greg Wiley contains 662 Names and Characteristics about our God. Here we are introduced to just 13 of his wonderful names of who he is! So, you see what we bring before you is barely introducing the vast array of names characteristics and attributes of our Wonderful God!

Greg asked me to write an endorsement for Incomparable and this is what our Holy Spirit gave me to write:

As I read and ponder each meditation (unpacking them as it were), each name brings me to a child-like place in my heart where I imagine myself discovering a treasure chest filled with priceless multi-faceted gems. And as I look upon each name, I slow down in wonderment at what is before me. For years, I have seen the names of God at work in my journey, slowly transforming my life. Focusing on each name causes me to feel a little bit like Mephibosheth sitting at the King’s table with the daily receiving of our great God’s life and light and His intimate healing Presence.
